Tri-County Real Estate

We are a premier real estate company with properties for sale in the Blue Ridge Mountain communities of Grayson County, Carroll County and Wythe County, Virginia. Our office is located in Independence, Virginia, near the 1908 Courthouse and just north of the stoplight. We are just north of the border with North Carolina.

We hope you will come visit our office in Independence, Virginia. Our friendly little town is nestled in between the Blue Ridge Parkway and the "Rooftop of Virginia" (the highest peaks in this part of the Blue Ridge Mountains - Mount Rogers and Whitetop Mountain). The area is dotted with family farms that go back for generations. But there is plenty to do here besides working on the farm. The New River offers fine fishing, canoeing, and hiking and biking trails. The Mount Rogers Recreation Area is also loaded with hiking, equestrian, and biking trails. And, then there is the music. This part of the Blue Ridge Mountains is considered "World's Capital of Old-Time Mountain Music". You can hear live old-time fiddle and bluegrass music nearly any night of the week. The musical heritage is deep and folks here love to share it with all those who are willing to sit a spell and listen.

Founded in 1974 by Curtis G. Harrington, Tri-County has been providing a wide range of real estate services for over 33 years in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia and Northwest North Carolina. We base our success on attention to the needs of our customers, whether buying or selling; and a thorough knowledge of the market. Nobody knows the mountains better; our agents have a combined 128 years of real estate experience. We are a member of the Southwest Virginia Board of Realtors and provide a multiple listing service, so you can also see our properties at Realtor.com.

Tri-County also has four licensed real estate appraisers on staff. We can provide real estate appraisals for mortgage loans, estate valuations, or any other need.

If you have any questions or need information about these mountains, email us at tricounty01@comcast.net or call us at 276-773-3632.
